New single ‘All You Want’ out now!

Statik release follow up to their 2022 debut ‘Wait a Minute’, with the brand new single ‘All You Want’ (and its accompanying music video).

 

Statik is an Alt. Rock band from Newcastle, Australia. The band have clocked up almost 3 years together, playing shows, recording and writing new material, and feature on Triple J Unearthed.

 

Champions of the band include, Screaming Jets founder, Grant Walmsley, Murray Cook (original red Wiggle) and Daniel Johns (Silverchair) and Kav Temperley (Eskimo Joe). The band have opened for 'The Soul Movers' (OG Red Wiggle) and Chase the Sun and regularly appear on local stages and local bills .

 

Influenced by music and bands from the late 90s to mid 2000s, Statik have put their own stamp on modern alt rock, whilst remaining reminiscent of bands like ‘Linkin Park’, ‘Good Charlotte’ and ‘The Killers’.

 

Statik is a Alt Rock band from Newcastle, Australia, consisting of members Cooper Gillott (Vocals and Bass), Jacob Phillips-Reinhard (Guitar and Vocals), and Zac Wilson (Drums).

 

Statik was formed at the Newcastle based creative community ‘The Vibe’, which focuses on cultivating creativity within neurodivergent individuals.

​The Vibe was founded by Grant Walmsley (Co-founder and writer of The Screaming Jets).

 

Statik are known for their high energy performances, crowd engagement and bringing a powerful and dramatic sonic landscape.
